This Republican is an idiot. This action epitomizes the very kinds of redneck thoughts and actions that are commonly attributed to the so-called Tea Party and other Conservative Republicans.
In truth, all politicians, regardless of parties tend to want to silence an open and free press and squelch the First Amendmeant. A free press and rights to free speach, whether it is the formal media, or individuals recording events, is one of the rights we have long held sacred in the Country.
I don't care what good this guy may have done, if he supports this kind of police action, he is not fit to be in the United States Congress--and that's very bad.
