This Blog presuposes that every person has a right to protect and defend himself and family. It does not presuppose dealy force, however it does not preclude such force if required. I am a longtime student of the principles and methods proposed herein. The name Delta Force is used because it is generally assoicated with special forces and such things, as it was the name of a special classified military unit that the US government long denied ever esisted. The TV show, The Unit is saikd to be derived from experiences of the real Dealta force Unit. Delta Force has also been shosen because it uses a method of pneumonic memory aid, which I (author Doug wright, devised entirely, using the Greek Letter Delta--which closely approximates the letter "D".

My intent is to begin with basic principles, educating the uneducated regarding the predatory criminal mind and how to use this model to predict predatory behavior and thereby avoid it. Much of my material has been used for years by the military and law enforement communities, however a great deal of it is the results of my own considerable experience in and out of the military with martial skills and from my own research.
